In the higher institutions, CGPA (Cumulative Grade Point Average) is used to access the performance of a student during or after his/her programmer. It is calculated using Grade points Eg: A-5points B-4points C-3points,etc OR: A-70% and above B-(60-69)% C-(50-59)%,etc by some schools. After each semester, a certain value for a student’s GPA is determined. Then,an average of both semesters i.e 1st and 2nd is known as the CGPA for that academic year. The Joint Admission and matriculation board has warned candidates who wish to effect changes on either their course and institution or make corrections on any of their data that it the process can only be done twice. Following the recent release of WAEC results nationwide, there have been viral reports of good ones, bad ones, extremely good ones, and some really bad ones Now, a young Nigerian man identified as Lyambee Sade Aorabee, has been reported heartbroken and left in a vulnerable state after he found out which category he belonged to.. The young man, though broken, took to his social media page to share the result with his friends and family. He did this while attaching a strong caption to the uploaded result. WAEC The West African Examination Council (WAEC) is set to release the results of the 2017 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE). A post on WAEC facebook account revealed that the results of candidates who sat for the 2017 WASSCE examination would be released on or before Wednesday July 19. “The results of the WASSCE for School candidates, 2017 will be released by the council on or before Wednesday next week,” the council posted. The council had early this year promised to release the 2017 WASSCE results within 60 days. The early release of results is part of WAEC’s new strategy tagged ‘Project 60’. ‘Project 60’ is aimed at improving the standard of service delivery in the educational sector.
